History of Undertaking

Event Name Date Time Location
History of Undertaking April 7, 2016 6:30 to 7:30pm Manor House

Our event season begins in April with Seth Gasche from Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home giving a historical perspective on undertaking, the oldest profession in the world dating from the Archaic Period (3100 B.C.) to Modern Day.

We will analyze American lifestyles and how it has effected death and dying, an inevitable rite of passage. As a group, we will discuss the correlation of modern day trends in comparison to the generational cohorts over the next thirty years.

This evening event will be held in the Manor House. Free and open to the public; donations are welcome.
