Book Launch Party Honoring Dandi Daley Mackall

Author Dandi Daley Mackall launches her new book, With Love, Wherever You Are, and the Ashland Public Library is throwing a party to help her celebrate! This is a special after-hours event, so please register to ensure entry into the library for the event. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing. This event is made possible through support from the Ashland County Historical Society and the Ashland University Campus Bookstore.
With Love, Wherever You Are is a story about a WWII army doctor and nurse who fall in love during training and spend the beginning of their marriage hundreds of miles apart serving in different countries sustained only by frequent letters. This novel is based on Mackall’s own parents and the over 600 surviving letters they had written during their wartime romance.
Dandi Daley Mackall is an Ashland County author who has written close to 500 books for both adults and children winning multiple writing awards, including the Helen Keating Ott Award for Contributions to Children’s Literature, the Edgar Award, and the Mom’s Choice Award. One of her books, My Boyfriends' Dogs, was made into the most watched Hallmark movie of 2014. She is also the author of Larger-Than-Life Lara; new picture book One Small Donkey; an award winning young adult novel, The Silence of Murder; the Flipside Stories collection; and a best-selling series about horses, just to name a few titles!
