The Ashland County Historical Society has a great little gift shop located in the Noonan House at 420 Center Street. It, like the rest of the Museum, has a little something for everyone! We have lovely Victorian style items including Historic Ashland wall clocks and hanging ornaments. We also have books for sale. We carry an array of Genealogical Society census and cemetery registers. Our best seller is likely the "Historic Ashland County Books I,II & III", written by local Historian, Betty Plank. Book II however, is no longer available. These books are a compilation of the Historic Ashland articles that run in the local newspaper, the Times Gazette. The first in the series sold so well it has recently been reprinted. We have "Living the American Dream", a book about the Myers and Miller families of Ashland. It provides an indepth look into the lives of the people that started the Industrial Boom here in Ashland. We encourage visitors to stop in and peruse our selection. If you live too far away for that, and would like to purchase an item, please email or call the office. We will be glad to ship to it to you! Click this link to email us!
